Stage Play: Lights Out

We’ve all been dead from the moment this friendship began.
— Greg, Lights Out

Synopsis

There’s a killer in the house. Carl’s dead. The lights aren’t working. Four friends must now struggle to survive in a single dark room. As their sense of panic rises, so do their suspicions for who the killer might be.

Genre: Thriller

Length: 20 Minutes

Characters: 4 (2 Male, 2 Female)

Lights Out
is an unusual play, as it requires the audience to NOT be able to see the actors, be it through the use of lighting, blindfolds (as used in the original performance), or any other method. The aim is to place the audience in the same sense of disorientation as the characters would be.
